Research Methodology
Primary Sources
We prioritize primary sources: witness testimony, original documents, declassified government files, and FOIA releases. Where we cite secondary analysis (books, documentaries, researcher summaries), we indicate that. We link to external sources when available so readers can trace claims to origin.
FOIA and Declassified Material
Declassified and FOIA-released documents are indexed with their provenance when known. We do not alter or selectively quote to support a narrative. We note when documents are partial, redacted, or disputed. Our goal is to make the record navigable, not to interpret it for the reader.
Update Cycles
Articles are reviewed periodically for accuracy and freshness. New FOIA releases, corrections from researchers, and significant new testimony may trigger updates. High-traffic or historically important entries receive more frequent review. We do not maintain a public changelog for every edit.
